When you live in the country...

and tell your boys to start the burn pile, make sure you are aware of what is being used as kindling.

Please stop while I pause in a moment of silence...I'll get over it....

Oh no!! The other day, my 2 year old tore a coupon I had just cut out for some free stuff and she almost lost her head. Fortunately, my parents had given me some extra coupons out of their paper, so I was able to find a replacement.

One day when Kiddo was about 3 or so, I was driving down the road when I noticed in the rear view mirror something fluttering down the road behind me. It took me a minute but then the horror finally dawned on me when I realized I had left my coupon box on top of the car as I strapped Kiddo in. It had tipped over and aaaaaaallll my coupons were fluttering on down the road. I wanted to cry. I pulled into a parking lot and salvaged what I could. A policeman pulled over and I honestly thought he was going to give me a ticket for littering, but when he saw how distraught I was, he just went on his way.

I still remember that "What's that flutter...OH MY GOSH MY COUPONS!!!!" thought...makes me laugh now but, boy I wasn't laughing then! : )

Jen,
Thanks so much for this list of items that are FREE after coupons. I went back through my coupons a THIRD time to clip coupons that I originally passed over because I don't buy the item. It just dawned on me, even if I don't use the item, if it's FREE can you say "DONATE"????

Know that you have blessed MANY today by your efforts!!

When i was potty training my oldest, i used stickers as a reward...one day, she decided to reward herself, with a roll of 100 stamps stuck all over the house-it was a $40 some odd dollar potty reward! I think i cried.
