4 Meals in 4 Minutes Homemade Gourmet give away

In order to celebrate FAMILY DAY this Monday and honor the long forgotten tradition of bringing friends and family back to the dinner table, I am beginning the first of many give aways to help facilitate this and make it a reality.
See how to get your name in the hat below. :)
With our crazy busy schedules, it's really hard to be intentional, especially for meal time, isn't it?
(I will continue my meal planning/coupon posts this weekend.)

Since I have a large family, people have always come to me on "food advise." They assume that because I have to feed the multitudes, I have this down to a science.
Honestly, I "know" it in my mind, and I can teach a great class and show others how, but the nuts and bolts when reality hits always goes in streaks.
It's all part of the balancing act.

The times that I don't always "get to it",
Homemade Gourmet has made it appear as if I do.
Their Homemade in a Hurry line and the 4 meals in 4 minutes concept has been a life saver for me over the last 18 months. These meals, sides, desserts, and appetizers that can be whipped up in literally minutes are for anyone/everyone.
I became a distributor only for personal use, but have had so many friends want to know more, and implement the meals ideas, that I have begun to dabble in the business.
Who doesn't want to have a grocery list, recipe plan and meal solutions at their fingertips. Hopefully, I can help you with that.
My give away is going to be for a sampling of my favorite 4 Meals in 4 Minutes mixes.
I will pick 4 HG dinner meals/mixes for you, along with the grocery list and recipes to make those meals, or you can look at my website and give me an idea of what you love.

There are three ways to get your name in the drawing.
1. Leave me some comment love (if you want to give some meal planning tips or you have questions that you want me to address in future posts...I'd love to hear.:)

2. Mention this give away with a link in your blog post.

3. Add me to your side bar (that counts as two :) Now, I really wish I had some bling to share.
Once you've done that, let me know how many times to put down your name, and I will pick a winner on Tuesday...(after you all have had dinner together on Monday night...right?) xoxox.
Our family emphasizes the power of a shared meal. Here are some ideas...
Do something fun for dinner.
If you have kids, why don't you try a "backwards" dinner night...serve dessert for the main course, making sure that they "save room" for the green beans.

I have also served a full spaghetti dinner under, yep...under the table. I set the place mats, charger plates, china and even lit the candles all while dining under the table. It was so fun and memorable. Yes, I even made the teens do it.
Remember, I am the Queen of Forced Bonding. :)
Good luck and get ready for some Good Eating.!

I saw your first post this morning and immediately went searching for some Homemade Gourmet details/info. I used to do "Dinner Studio" - assemble your meals, bring them home for the freezer, etc. I LOVED it!! And then they raised their prices beyond what I could justify.

I read all of the Homemade Gourmet website, gave them a call, asked some more questions and then signed up to try their service under "HG Preferred", and placed my first order. I'm hopeful of loving it too!!

Thanks for the info!

Am I really first? I've never EVER been first. This is too exciting. Okay, sorry....anyway. As previously mentioned, I am super excited about this giveaway.

Here's a question: Hubby and I like variety in our weekly menu, but grocery stores sell things in family sized portions. I feel like we end up eating two meals all week to use up leftovers. I know we can freeze meats, but what about things like fruits and veggies?

Ugh, bummer. I didn't hit that send button soon enough. Oh well, better luck next time.

Exciting giveaway! I have put you on my sidebar under "Blogs I am Reading" and also linked to you in a post that I completed tonight. Thanks so much for all of your tips - you really have inspired me to save some $ at the grocery store. (thats more $ for scrapbooking supplies...ha!)

Jen, I would like more info on becoming a consultant. I need to find something that would earn a little money. Would you tell me the lo down? What you like and don't like. Cost of what it takes.
Thanks, Holly

What a wonderful give away. My dinner tip is PLAN PLAN PLAN! I know - innovative, but I can always make dinner if I have a plan - when I don't we get take-out and that gets $$$$!

Hi I would love to participate in this but I live overseas... I am always looking for ways to make new things quickly, especially since everything you can make over here is only from scratch. So, let me know if this is something I can be a part of or not. Thanks.

Okay, I haven't read the post yet because I wanted to watch the worship videos...I believe I see that fab dress with the great green wrap on the right hand side of the video, don't I? As soon as I heard the drums start I started giggling. I have a FUNNY story about "Sing to the King," if you want to hear it.

Okay, off to read the post!

This sounds like a great program, my tip...USE YOUR CROCKPOT! My mornings are often more relaxed (or if rushed I can get everything assembled the night before while hubby does the bedtime routine. Then throw it all in, turn it on and "Fix It and Forget It" which is the name of one of my favorite crockpot recipe books.

Having my crockpot "happily crock-potting" away while I run my errands and then get kids to and from sports practice is INvaluable to me.

About the cookbook, when you flip through it at first you might think uggh, who needs 10 recipes for pot roast. BUT....this actually helped me be brave enough to experiment with my ingredients a little more. It was good to see all the different ways to fix some of the staples. It also has recipes for less traditional crock pot meals so that stretches our menu too.

I don't have a blog so I can link you or add you to a sidebar. i guess this will have to count as my one entry.

This sounds great! Enter me twice, cause you're on my sidebar :) so I can visit you often!!
If I win, please make sure that I get the GLUTEN-FREE mixes...I have never heard of this company before, and was sure that I wouldn't enter because of my gluten "allergy" (celiac disease). I was SO IMPRESSED that this company actually has gluten free items listed, that I may actually have to read up and place an order!

Hi there, I'm really interested in couponing and how much time it takes. I have 3 boys under 4 and I never started b/c of the fear of it taking too much of my valuable time. I know horrible but it is the truth. I would love to hear more info on cutting corners on couponing, how you effeciently coupon, and how you know when to use your coupon etc. The whole coupon thing intimidates me! looking forward to more. 1 point for me! Thanks for doing this for us!

So much fun! Our kids (three) love it when we're all home together for dinner. As they get older they're busy schedules don't allow it to happen every night.

My kids' friends enjoy our family dinners with us too - it's amazing how many families leave the kids to 'fend for themselves' so often.

Oh, I would LOVE to win! Put me down for 2!
